Why do I have to create an account?

Seminole State College is working hard to achieve two goals:

  • To establish a single logon environment where only one Login Name and one Password are necessary to utilize Web services, thereby centralizing the authentication process
  • To assure a secure workplace by utilizing the latest encryption technology

All students will be required to create their own Login Name and Password during their initial session in MySeminole State.

What if I don’t have a Social Security Number?

Students who do not have a Social Security Number should contact the Seminole State Admissions/International Student Office or Records Office at any campus or call 407-328-2050 to obtain the appropriate direction to create their account.

What is a Login Name?

Your Login Name is your universal access ID to all Seminole State computer resources.  In addition to accessing MySeminole State, your Login Name will be used to create your MyMail student e-mail account and provide you access to the College’s network system.  Therefore, you are encouraged to use good judgment when creating your Login Name.

Your Login Name must consist of at least five characters and no more than eight.  Keep in mind your Login Name is case sensitive, so capitalization does matter.  The system will only accept letters and numbers.  Spaces and punctuation are not valid.

Make sure you remember your Login Name!

Examples of appropriate Login Names:
johndoe1
123JANE
