Places to study in the Library

The libraries at the Sanford/Lake Mary Campuses have a variety of areas for study and research. Both sites have group study rooms with white/chalk boards, electrical and wireless Internet access.

The Sanford/Lake Mary Campus has 290 tables, carrels, AV, computer and lounge seating for students. The Oviedo Campus has 80 seats of the same categories.

Students are welcome to bring their own laptops to the library. Designated areas for electrical access are available for desktop applications. Wireless Internet connection is available on both sites. The Oviedo library also has study tables with data plugs for ease of access. Laptop computers with wireless capability may be checked out at the circulation desks for use within the libraries.

Students are requested to keep conversation low in respect for most who prefer a quiet study environment. Cell phones are to be kept in silent or vibrate mode while in the library, and phone conversations are to be conducted outside the library.

Eating in the library is not allowed. Liquid refreshments with secured lids may be used in areas of the library except where computers are located.
