The National Kitchen and Bath AssociationThe National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) is an international non-profit association of kitchen and bath dealers, design firms, distributors, and related companies. With more than 8,000 members in more than 50 chapters throughout the United States and Canada, the mission of NKBA is to enhance member success and excellence by promoting professionalism and ethical business practices, and providing leadership and direction for the kitchen and bathroom industry. NKBA helps consumers by acting as the ultimate resource for everything from finding a design professional to information on industry trends, products and services. NKBA monitors legislation from state-to-state to protect the industry and its members, which directly benefits the consumer. NKBA aids industry professionals through NKBA University and professional development courses that raise the standard for kitchen and bath professionals. NKBA also offers certifications in design for individuals that pass written exams and who prove themselves through years of experience. NKBA also links kitchen and bath professionals with a database of job listings. What is the NKBA Endorsed College Program?NKBA's Endorsed College Program was established to offer quality training at accredited institutions to prospective Kitchen and Bath Design professionals. The industry expressed a need for consistent, quality education for students who wish to become professionals in the kitchen and bath industry.
