Mini-Grants

Foundation Mini-Grants

The Seminole Community College Foundation Board of Directors is now accepting applications for the annual Mini-Grant program, designed to give faculty and staff members external funding for projects not available within their budget.

All full-time faculty and staff are eligible to apply. The scope of the Mini-Grant must support the mission of the College and the maximum award is $2,000, with the goal to award as many as possible. Mini-Grants are sponsored by Presidents' Club donations.

Grants are awarded by a committee composed of members of the SCC Foundation's Board of Directors. The committee will review the applications and recommend the grants to be funded to the full Board.

Please submit your proposal with the appropriate signatures plus eight copies to the Foundation by 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007.

The Mini-Grants will be awarded in January 2008 for the period of Jan. 1, 2008 - Sept. 30, 2008. All funds awarded must be expended or encumbered by Sept. 30, 2008. All College policies and procedures apply to the Foundation Mini-Grants.
