What happened to 4Runner?

The 4Runner campaign has evolved into three separate campaigns in an effort to best serve each organization. The Blue & Gold Circle was created to increase awareness about the support faculty and staff provide the College through student scholarships and program support.

How can I contribute to the United Way and/or join FACC?

The United Way and SCC's chapter of the Florida Association of Community Colleges (FACC) will host separate campaigns during the academic year and all faculty and staff are encouraged to participate.

I already give my time to SCC, why should I make a donation?

The ongoing support of SCC's faculty and staff is more important than ever as many areas of the College are in need of additional funding. When your donation is combined with available state-match dollars, we can make even more funds available. Donations to The Blue & Gold Circle may be tax deductible.

I can't give at one of the listed levels, can I still participate?

The Blue & Gold Circle is designed to recognize faculty and staff participation and create a stronger sense of community at SCC. Gifts of any amount are welcome and appreciated.

Don't students get financial aid?

Yes, many students at SCC do receive financial aid; however, it may not cover all educational expenses. Contributions to The Blue & Gold Circle provide additional funding to the College that may be used to provide student aid, program support and equipment.

Can I designate my gift to a specific department or program?

Faculty and staff have the option to support the areas of greatest need at the College or select a specific department or program in which to contribute. Undesignated contributions will go to the "areas of greatest need."

Will the amount I donate be disclosed?

Individual contributions to the The Blue & Gold Circle will be kept confidential. All contributors to The Blue & Gold Circle will be recognized in the Foundation's annual honor roll of donors.
