What: Presentations on literature, composition, and developmental reading/writing

Why: The Community Conference for English Teachers has been established so that English instructors can

• Connect with other English instructors in Central Florida
• Share teaching ideas
• Discuss issues in the field

Many of us travel to other cities and states for English conferences, yet talented English instructors with innovative ideas reside right here in Central Florida. This conference is an opportunity to hear and support instructors who teach at local schools and colleges.

In these years of severe budget cuts, travel expenditures have been limited. The Community Conference for English Teachers provides quality professional development for a small registration fee.

It will be an interesting and fast-paced conference, complete with lunch.
