After School Tutoring

The College Reach-Out Program (CROP)/Club 700 provides free tutoring in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science at two locations in Seminole County: Seminole Community College's Sanford/Lake Mary and Oviedo Campuses. The tutorial sessions will run daily Monday through Thursday from 4:30-7:30 p.m..

Middle and High School Workshops

CROP/Club 700 students will participate in monthly workshops conducted at each school by the middle and high school coordinators. These workshops will take place during the regular school day and cover various topics including test preparation; money and time management; career exploration; drug awareness; and more.

Saturday Academy

CROP/Club 700 offers Saturday Academy sessions with the emphasis on reading, technology, test preparation, college readiness, health, conflict resolution and career exploration. These sessions run from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., and CROP/Club 700 provides transportation to Seminole Community College from various Seminole County schools.

College Tour

CROP/Club 700 will take approximately 50 of its active participants on a week-long college tour visiting 10 to 13 colleges and universities. In addition to the valuable college visits, students will spend time making new friends while dining out, going to movies and museums.

Cultural Events and Festivities

During the academic year, CROP/Club 700 students will have the opportunity to enjoy our guest speakers, the Holiday Cultural Festival, a step show and our Awards Banquet. These cultural events and festivities round out an exciting year full of priceless programming.
