SCC's Criminal Justice Technology A.S. degree provides the knowledge, skills and experience you need to become a criminal justice officer. The A.S. degree program:

• Provides basic recruit training for those entering the criminal justice fields.
• Helps current criminal justice employees keep current with skills and technology.
• Provides credits toward a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
• Prepares you for the FDLE exam. You cannot be employed as a criminal justice officer in Florida unless you pass this exam.
