Graduation Procedures
Students who are ready to graduate should complete the following steps:
- Complete a Graduation Audit request form, available in the Counseling Office.
- Schedule an appointment to see a counselor/educational adviser to review the Graduation Audit.
- Associate in Art students will take the CLAST or file for a CLAST
exemption (if eligible) prior to graduation. Meet with a
counselor/adviser to determine if you may be eligible for CLAST
exemption. Check the Academic Calendar for CLAST registration and test
dates. Note: Associate in Science students are not required
to take the CLAST. (CLAST test information)
- Complete a diploma application and submit it to the Registration Office (after registering for the final term of courses).
- Apply to a university. Check with the university for
application deadline dates. Many universities will accept, if not
require, applications as early as six to 12 months ahead of the
start of the term.
